Buckeyes at Indiana: Watch It With Us
Ohio State heads to Bloomington on Saturday, October 17, to face Indiana in a rematch of last year’s Big Ten championship game, and you can skip the drive and still enjoy every snap. The Germania is hosting a watch party with the game on our screens, the bar open and the tailgate buffet ready. Kickoff is at noon, and doors open at 11 a.m.
There is something new on the buffet this week. Mike Bals is putting on his grilling apron and adding ribs to the tailgate menu, right alongside the casseroles that have been such a hit at our game day tailgates.
Register ahead and save $5 a person. Adults are $35 preregistered or $40 at the door. Kids under 16 are $15 preregistered or $20 at the door.
Preregistering also tells the kitchen how many ribs to put on the grill, so sign up at germaniacolumbus.org before game day. The party is open to the public at 543 S. Front St., so bring the family, bring a friend who has never been to the Germania, and wear your scarlet and gray. Prost, and Go Bucks!
