This Saturday, April 30th, is Walpurgisnacht. That's a handful to pronounce: vahl-poor-gihs-nakht. On the night before May Day, halfway to Halloween, witches are rumored to congregate in the mountains. Germans light bonfires and make noise to ward off the evil powers and protect their homes, many do a "spring cleaning," and some even dress up as witches to play pranks. We'll have fire pits outside, and, to make as much noise as possible, Karaoke Lab will be inside from 7-11pm! That's right, Karaoke is back!
Our kitchen will be closed, so feel free to carry in your own dinner and snacks for this event. (No outside beverages are allowed on the premises, but the bar will be open!)
